通过对上海市公安局浦东分局弱电线路的维护和应急抢修项目情况分析与处理，在排摸浦东分局大楼及其辖区内的各个业务支队、公安处及派出所办公区域后，需要对上海市公安局浦东分局弱电网络和其他通信系统等线路的维修、保养及应急抢修项目继续完善。
本项目建设主要是对上海市公安局浦东分局的办公大楼，各业务支队、公安处及派出所的办公场所已建成的三级网弱电线路进行日常运维，根据各个部门实际需求进行综合布线优化调整，同时配合对上海市公安局浦东分局增加的警务站、临时办公点或搬入社区的综合窗口接入公安通信网。通过对三级网弱电线路进行日常运维和应急抢修以提高公安信息化办公效率，增强城市治安管理水平。（具体内容详见“第二章 项目采购需求”）
